Who we are
SyncHubis a real-time collaboration app built around a simple idea: staying in sync with your people shouldn't require juggling five different tools. It brings chat, device pairing, document sharing, and quick guest connections into one place.
What you can do here
- Pair devices instantly — a WhatsApp-style QR flow keeps your sessions in sync across devices in real time.
- Share documents — upload, preview, and share files with people you're connected with, with optional download permissions.
- Manage connections — search for people, send and accept requests, and control who you share with.
- Connect as a guest — jump into a peer media session with no account needed, or join a host's invite. Sessions and media are wiped when they end.
How it's built
SyncHub runs on Next.js with an Appwrite backend for authentication, data, storage, and realtime updates. It started as a hands-on project to explore what a fast, realtime-first product feels like end to end, from device pairing to live document delivery.
